MUNICH INDOORS - Realization also not possible this year
Munich - Due to the rather difficult forecast regarding the Corona infection figures in autumn and winter, the organizers of the MUNICH INDOORS in the Munich Olympic Hall see themselves forced to refrain from the realization of the international four-star tournament again this year. "Currently, the numbers are rising again and experts predict a rather difficult trend for the indoor season," tournament director Volker Wulff explained his decision. "Under these circumstances, we see no chance to let the tournament take place according to our ideas. It is a tremendous pity. Now we hope for next year."
The legend goes on
The Munich Indoors are legendary in many ways. The Olympic hall is an architectonical masterpiece which directly matches the alpine setting in the background. The show arena offers tingling excitement which enables a close connection between viewers and riders. The MUNICH INDOORS is the hotspot for stars of the equestrian scene with magical acts. The surroundings offers a non-stop-shopping experience. In other words, the MUNICH INDOORS are a must for every equestrian fan.
Top class equestrian sport in the Bavarian capital will be booming. International jumping and dressage classes, U21 classes as well as the FUNDIS Youngster Tour for seven- and eight-year-old horses. Additionally, the Gold-Cup and two dressage tours on Grand Prix level highlight the program in the Olympic hall. Absolute highlights are the Meggle Grand Prix on Saturday night as well as the Große Preis Kreditbank AG.
Bavaria in the focus
The state capital is of course also a sporting home for the riders of the Bavarian state associations - and for young and old. The Führzügelklasse presented by Radio Arabella has already been established for years. In 2018, the Pony Cup celebrated its premiere and it is already impossible to imagine the Olympic Hall without it. Firmly anchored in the tournament calendar of the Bavarian U21 riders are the qualifications for the Junior Cup, which celebrates its finale at the MUNICH INDOORS. This gives all age groups the chance to compete in the legendary Olympic Hall. For the Bavarian show jumpers, the Bavarian Championships is the ultimate highlight of the season and this has often been a sensational springboard into world-class sport. Simone Blum, reigning World Champion show jumper, also describes her former victory in the Bavarian Championships as a milestone in her sporting career.
World class entertainment
The MUNICH INDOORS show also has a special attraction every year. The who-is-who of the scene comes together at the international horse show. Stars such as Jean-Francoise Pignon, Lorenzo and Santi Serra have already enchanted the audience and provided magical moments in the Olympic Hall.
In addition, the MUNICH INDOORS will offer the ultimate shopping experience, as the Olympic Hall circuit will feature an exclusive and varied exhibition in an endless loop - so there will be no end to the strolling.
